'B' Flight Scramble
At the height of the Battle of Britain Spitfires of 610 Squadron clear the boundary hedge at RAF Biggin Hill, just along the road can be seen the very distinctive saltbox tearooms, a popular haunt of base personnel. The traffic stops and civilians watch in awe, as the Spitfires scramble to intercept the mass formations of the Luftwaffe.
