56 Squadron by Jerry Crandall

Wing Commander Geoffrey Page flew with the Blue Section of 56 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. Shot down in a Hurricane, Page sustained severe burns, ultimately undergoing two years of plastic surgery. He was wounded during the Normandy Invasion and then for the third time at the Battle of Arnhem. Ending the war with 15 victories, Page was awarded the DSO and DFC with bar.
