BEWARE THE WILD WINDS so translates the 486 Squadron motto ‘Hiwa Hau Maka’ in recognition of the Hawker trio of the Hurricane, Typhoon and Tempest which equipped this unit at various stages of its distinguished combat history.

This limited edition art print is to pay tribute to all those pilots and ground-staff who served the squadron during its three and a half year existence, in particular those who did not return. Each print is individually hand-signed by six distinguished ex-486 Squadron pilots and signed and numbered by the artist.
