I had a Row with a German RAF Casualty
This is a 3rd impression 1943 which is signed across the Orde portrait, Tom Gleeve 1st November ’43
Group Captain Tom Gleeve was Officer Commanding 253 Squadron in the Battle of Britain before being shot down. He was one of the very first Guinea pigs which Archie McIndoe re-built his face after being badly burnt. The book for its age is in good condition but the dust wrapper has come apart, I have laid underneath the original as I wanted to keep the original with the book. It is is a protective clear sleeve.
One of the really rare collectable Battle of Britain books.
